How many
photographers will be at my wedding?
One. Unless you have a fairly large wedding (450+ guests),
we do not recommend more than one photographer. We want our
clients to be themselves, act naturally, and hopefully
forget that there is a photographer in the room. Working
alone allows us to do that.
How long will it
take to get my pictures back after the
wedding?
Your digital negatives will typically be ready for you to
pick up within 2 weeks.
Will the images on
my hi-res CD be watermarked or will some other devious
method be used to prevent me from making
prints?
No. No. No.
Will Britton
photograph the wedding himself?
Yes, Britton will be personally photographing your wedding.
If Britton is booked for your date, and if another
photographer is available, you will be informed, and given
the option to use them. At no point will your photographer
be "swapped out" and replaced unless there is an emergency.
How long has
Britton been shooting weddings?
Britton has been professionally photographing weddings
since 2004.
What are the
deposit requirements?
A $500 commitment fee is necessary to secure your date, and
the balance of your contract will be due 28 days prior to
the wedding.
Will the
photographer bring backup equipment?
Yes, absolutely.
Digital or
film?
Digital. Film is just not accurate enough (compared to
film) for serious wedding photography. If you are a
celebrity, you will want a film photographer in order to
limit access to the images.
Do you have any
problems working with videographers?
No, not generally. Most are cordial and respectful, and we
work together in concert, rather than as competitors.
Will we be
pressured to see each other before the
wedding?
No, but if there is not enough time for photography between
the ceremony ending and the reception beginning, you may
not have a choice.
Should we provide a
meal for the photographer?
No.
